It will be an interesting experience because this will be the first time in a long, long time that I'll be at home while fasting. For the last few decades (pause. wow.), I've either been at school or working in an office where I've had to remind my boss each year of my new schedule or remind my co-workers why I couldn't join them for lunch or coffee. This year, I'll be cloistered in my home office with the ability to nap when I choose, to go grocery shopping when it's not crowded, and to avoid the commuting throngs that even on a normal day can be grating.
So with that, I bid ye a Ramadan Mubarak! I'm going to look in the mirror to see just how sharp my incisors seem to have gotten today . . .

Can I blame Ramadan for my vampire ways too? Cuz, I've been nocturnal the entire time I've been in IL. o_0
Happy Ramadan! Call me when you are eating pancakes at 5am and i'll experience it vicariously ( you can keep the calories!).
I find fasting easier OUTSIde the house, because then there's very little chance of me being in the near proximity of the refrigerator. heh
I agree with Abez. At home the snacks are always trying to tempt me.

owl - nah, just being nocturnal makes you an owl...which you already are. it's the feasting in the dark that is the defining characteristic of these nosferatu days.

ab and lb - actually, you are right. today i went to the eye dr and when i got home, half the day had already passed and i wasn't as hungry as the day before.
